I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I received my Graduate Degree Equivalency in Sculpture and Engraving at La Scuola Dell'Arte Della Medaglia at the Italian Mint in Rome, Italy. I am currently seeking licensure in Teaching Art through CESA7 and Silver Lake College in Green Bay, WI.
I make things. I am a sculptor, tablemaker, painter and medallic designer. I am also a teacher, currently teaching students age 4 through 14 at Notre Dame of De Pere Elementary and Middle School in De Pere, WI. The making and teaching of art throughout my life has brought me lots of joy! I hope that you will find some too while sifting through my site. Welcome!

Details, details!
For many years I designed and sculpted coins, medallions and plaques, including many portraits and the Signature Plaques for the US Department of State and Air Force One. I have owned and operated two small businesses, including an Italian restaurant. For many summers I taught sculpture and engraving to adult artists, and since 2012 I have been teaching art to children.
I have one daughter and three cats. I love to garden, cook, swim, and read. I like to build my own furniture. I speak fluent Italian, and I have a basic knowledge of French and Spanish. I believe that art is an essential part of education. It promotes self-expression and independence of ideas, while reinforcing motor skills, self-confidence, and imagination!
